Dr. Josephine Chang Pallotto brings us a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. Growing up in southern California, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and graduated with a degree in Psychobiology. After her studies at UCLA, she went on to continue her education at New York College of Dentistry. Along with receiving a doctorate in dental surgery (DDS), she also received the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for demonstrating superior performance in providing comprehensive dental care.
As president of the community service club at NYU and a volunteer on a Grenada service trip, Dr. Josephine has always made community service a priority in her life. Her empathetic personality and strong leadership drew her towards an involvement in Dental Care for Survivors of Torture, a collaboration with Bellevue Medical Center that delivers dental care to survivors of abuse.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Josephine moved to Chicago and completed another year of extensive training with the University of Chicago through a General Practice Residency at Evanston Hospital. Working in a hospital setting allowed her to gain experience in treating a wide variety of patients and aiding in complex surgical procedures.
Along with practicing at Pallotto Dental Care, Dr. Josephine is also a part time faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. She loves the university atmosphere along with keeping up to date with dental education and the latest technologies.
When Dr. Josephine is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys the summer months of Chicago and loves going to CorePower yoga!
